As you can see the size of the tube plays a big difference in our data. The data in the shorter tube is almost double the long tube data. this is happening because there is more air in the longer tube so the more air in between the cringe and the adapter the more pressure there is.

Chapter 2

A liquid is the state in which matter takes the shape of its container and has a definite volume.

Liquids can be found in between the solid and gas state. They don't have to be made up of the same compounds.
Even though liquids change shape, they don't regularly change volume.
A liquid is a very hard to compress or take a certain amount of something and put it in a smaller space.

Lab Report

Our data shows, mass and volume are related when using one specific liquid. We tested 3 different liquids and compared their mass and volume. We did this by graphing our data. We used 3 different colors to represent the 3 different liquids and saw that there was a positive correlation for all. Therefore, mass and volume are related.

Mission Impossible

Color- The quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light.

Malleabillity- The property of being physically malleable; the property of something that can be worked or hammered or shaped without breaking.

Ductility- The malleability of something that can be drawn into threads or wires or hammered into thin sheets.

Mass- A unified body of matter with no specific s

Texture -The visual and esp. tactile quality of a surface.

Weight- The amount or quantity of heaviness or mass; amount a thing weighs.

Volume- The amount of space occupied by a three-dimensional object or region of space, expressed in cubic units.Below is a chart of our test results on conserving mass....

Summary: The average difference was -0.1. The classes results were all very close but we all got something a little bit different. =]

Here is a story that we made to help us remember the Metric System!! ENJOY!! MARTA METER GOES TO METRIC LAND =] Marta Meter is a 13 year old girl that lives in a small village in Italy. She was sitting outside one day with her dog Rufus, when she saw a small creature running into the woods and wanted to know where it was running to. She ran after it and came to a small tunnel leading under the ground. She yelled down into it and only heard the return of her own voice. Rufus heard her voice echoing, and thought that she was down there so he jumped down into the tunnel. Marta become frantic and had to decide whether to go down after her pup, or go get help. She dropped down on to the cold, moist, dirt ground. It was so dark, she couldn’t see her own hands. She saw a small glow coming from the end of the hallway. When she walked towards it, she could see a small, wooden door. But when she gets to the door, she sees that she needs to get nano small. She gets through the door and finds everything on the other side is normal size but she is still very tiny. This means that she needs to get deca big. But before she gets deca big, she had to eat a micro plant. Then when she finally gets bigger, she is lost and starts to cry. All of the sudden, a super hero came out of nowhere. His name was Hecto-Hector and he has a 100 ultra-ray-super-hearing ear sound waves. He realized that she was lonely and lost and took her to the milli-tunnel of hope. Even though it was only .001 of a mile, it had given her some hope to go on and find her lost dog Rufus. When she stepped into the small room, it started to spin and the lights flickered on and off violently. When she stepped out, Hecto-Hector smiled and said, “You have gained so much hope that you transformed into and stronger girl. Her name then changed to Kilo Meter and she was stronger and bigger than ever before. She is then able to find her dog Rufus and they live happily ever after!
